Board and Batten Siding was born out of practicality and utility, but has stuck around because it is also quite beautiful.
You will find Board and Batten in many different material options, but if you have horses and/or are using around livestock White Oak needs to be seriously considered. Horses will not eat it (as long as they have another food source) and it’s very dense meaning that it will hold up to kicks, bumps, and anything else a 1000lb animal can throw at it. White Oak has a natural resistance to moisture, insects, and animals. You can paint or oil, but you do not need to, even for outdoor use. White Oak is the secret ingredient for equestrian facilities.
We sell Board and Batten Siding to both professionals and homeowners. You can easily DIY the installation, and we are happy to coach you through that. When you purchase from us we provide the board, batten, and fasteners. You really can do this, we’re sure of it.
Whether you’re putting up a new building, or are upgrading one you already have, board and batten siding is a great option.
Board and Batten Siding is sold by the square foot. If you are unsure of how many square feet you need, we can help you with that. We will need the height, length, and arrangement of the project. The $4.95/price is for projects up to 12’ in height. If you have a taller area, such as a gable, please reach out and we’ll get you a custom quote.
