8"x8" rough sawn white oak lumber, grade #2 or better

White oak is a hardwood, traditionally used in building ships, wagons, whiskey barrels, and railroad ties. While popular in flooring, millwork, and cabinets it is also well suited for outdoor use. White oak is beloved for its versality, durability, workability, and has a Janka rating of 1,360. One of the heaviest species of wood in the world, white oak weighs 47lbs per cubic foot.

We work with several family-owned sawmills sourcing quality white oak for our manufacturing of equine equipment. Actual stocking of lumber is hit or miss. Please note, we rarely have 8"x8" on hand. Allow for 4 weeks for delivery, 16' and longer lengths can take longer depending on log availability.

Planing is available, call or email for pricing.
