8"x10" white oak lumber, grade #2 or better

Rough sawn lumber is in its original condition after being cut to size from the log. You will see texture from the cutting blade. Rough sawn will be full dimension or true to size. You can finish rough sawn to suit your needs or use as is for a more rustic look.

If you would like a more finished product order planed. We’ll smooth all four sides but not square the ends so you’re not shorted any material. Our planed lumber finishes true to size or actual size (not nominal size). Example, a 2”x4”x8’ board will measure a full 2”x4” and averages 100” in length. This is not the norm so please note when comparing and ordering.

Other options:

If you’re looking for tongue and groove white oak, we can offer that service as well. We will t&g rough sawn or planed material. You will need to call or email for pricing and availability. Kiln drying is available for orders of $5,000. We partner with another company to offer this service.

White oak is a hardwood, traditionally used in building ships, wagons, whiskey barrels, and railroad ties. While popular in flooring, millwork, and cabinets it is also well suited for outdoor use. White oak is beloved for its versality, durability, workability, and has a Janka rating of 1,360. One of the heaviest species of wood in the world, white oak weighs 47lbs per cubic foot.

We work with several family-owned sawmills sourcing quality white oak for our manufacturing of equestrian equipment. Actual stocking of lumber is hit or miss. Please note, we rarely have 8"x10" on hand. Allow for 4 weeks for delivery, 16' and longer lengths can take longer depending on log availability.

Please take the time to read the Shipping Info before ordering.
