8"x10" white oak lumber, grade #2 or better
Rough sawn lumber is in its original condition after being cut to size from the log. You will see texture from the cutting blade. Rough sawn will be full dimension or true to size. You can finish rough sawn to suit your needs or use as is for a more rustic look.
If you would like a more finished product order planed. We’ll smooth all four sides but not square the ends so you’re not shorted any material. Our planed lumber finishes true to size or actual size (not nominal size). Example, a 2”x4”x8’ board will measure a full 2”x4” and averages 100” in length. This is not the norm so please note when comparing and ordering.

White oak is beloved for its versality, durability, workability, and has a Janka rating of 1,360. One of the heaviest species of wood in the world, white oak weighs 47lbs per cubic foot.
We work with several family-owned sawmills sourcing quality white oak for our manufacturing of equestrian equipment. Actual stocking of lumber is hit or miss.
