Stop dealing with feeders that tip over, get pushed around, and beat up. Our covered feeders allow you to easily and conveniently feed small square hay bales, concentrates, and cubes. No detail is missed in the construction of these feeders.

The solid roof is a safeguard for your valuable forage, keeping it clean and dry. Horses have full access to their hay on each side of the feeder. The v shaped hay rack is constructed using both vertical and horizontal boards that act as a slow feeder. There is no pulling large chunks of hay out to be stepped on and wasted. The hay rack is accessed through a side door that opens to allow for easily filling, as well as cleaning. A feed bunk is below to catch any loose hay, and for offering grain, concentrates, or cubes. All edges are beveled to protect from scratches or scrapes. The lower portion of the feeder is squared and on skids. This keeps the feeder sitting evenly and weight proportionate so that it stays where you want it but is movable when you need it to be.

Concerned about horses eating the feeder? You don’t need to be! White oak is a hardwood that is naturally bitter. Not only do horses hate the taste, but it only gets more awful tasting as it ages.
A Great Oak Equine feeder made from northern white oak is about as good as it gets for an outdoor horse feeder.
