Dutch door (duhch dohr)
Noun
- a door consisting of two units horizontally divided so that each half can be opened or closed separately.
- perfectly practical
When it comes to fully enjoying and utilizing your horse barn, Dutch doors can make or break your experience. Most commonly the top half will be left open to allow a breeze and additional light into the stable when possible. It does not get more iconic that a horse hanging their head out of a top open dutch door. We only use white oak lumber so those same horses will not eat your doors.
We offer two styles of dutch doors, both of which provide a clean, seamless finish. You cannot go wrong, it’s just a matter of which look you prefer.
