These are various lengths of 1x6 white oak that are remaining from our manufacturing process. They range from 24” to 48” in length. The shorter lengths (vs 8’) are convenient when it comes to handling and storage. We often sell them for wall coverings, soffits, DIY projects, and crafts.
White oak is a hardwood, traditionally used in building ships, wagons, whiskey barrels, and railroad ties. While popular in flooring, millwork, and cabinets it is also well suited for outdoor use. White oak is beloved for its versality, durability, workability, and has a Janka rating of 1,360. One of the heaviest species of wood in the world, white oak weighs 47lbs per cubic foot.

Drying
We can do some drying in house and partner with a third party for bigger jobs. Note that kiln drying adds considerable time to the project.
Planing
Whether you need S1S, S4S, or somewhere in between we can do that. Note that you need to keep in mind what you want the finished dimensions to be when ordering.
Tongue and Groove
This is also done in house. We will T&G planed or rough lumber.
