Our Sloped Side Round Pen has all the benefits of a solid bottom round pen: portable, self-supporting, and durable, with the added benefit of sloped side panels. The panels for the Sloped Round Pen have been designed to angle outwards at the top. Trainers tend to love this design for a few different reasons, most notable:
✔️ Your legs and knees have freedom from being banged or pinched while the horses learn their feet.
✔️ The angle of the panel teaches the horse to keep to the inside of the pen and not lean on the wall.
✔️ Fully portable and self supporting, it’s a great design for leased or growing properties.
The panels are 8’ long and 6’ or 7’ tall (your choice) and arrive at your farm with the hardware attached. Setting up your round pen requires that you tip the panels upright, match the hinges on the panels and drop in the pin to connect the panels.
Additional Entrance Gates can be purchased separately and easily integrated.
*Please note that while our round pens are self-supporting, when they surpass 80' we recommend placing support posts alongside every other panel for additional support. Posts are provided.
